Jen Barnett and Sam Brasseale founded Freshfully in 2011 because, “We were both interested in eating more fresh, local food, but we were having trouble finding it.”

Freshfully market in Avondale is a real-life brick-and-mortar grocery that sells only local food. It’s across the street from Avondale Brewing Company and Saw’s Soul Kitchen, so we invite you to stumble or waddle over and see us anytime you’re visiting those fine establishments.

Farmers deliver six days a week to the market, so you can expect lots of fresh, in-season fruits and veggies. In the meat department (i.e. the loud red freezer or the former Quizno’s cooler), we have local grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured pork, free-range chicken, and Gulf shrimp.
